What Does Steam Cleaning Do?
Steam cleaning uses high-temperature, low-moisture vapor to loosen and lift grime, oils, and sticky residues from hard-to-reach areas without soaking your interior. It softens dirt on plastics, vinyl, leather, fabric, and carpet so it can be wiped or extracted away, and it helps neutralize odor-causing bacteria in places like vents, cupholders, seat tracks, and seams. Because it relies on heat instead of heavy chemicals, steam is an eco-friendly way to deep clean touch points like the steering wheel, shifter, buttons, and door handles.
Beyond freshening surfaces, steam is ideal as a prep step before stain removal and leather conditioning. It melts through build-up on pedals and door jambs, loosens salt and spill residues in carpet, and safely cleans delicate areas (badges, screen bezels, trim) when used with proper technique and distance. The result is a cleaner, healthier cabin with faster dry times and less risk of over-wetting—perfect for revitalizing your vehicle inside and out.
Does Extraction Help?
Yes—when done correctly, extraction absolutely helps. It flushes embedded dirt, grit, sugars, oils, pet accidents, and road salt out of carpet and seat fabrics instead of just moving them around on the surface. By removing what’s trapped below the fibers, extraction reduces odors, slows re-soiling, and restores a softer, cleaner feel to carpets, floor mats, and cloth seats.
Effectiveness comes from process: we pre-treat with the right cleaner, let it dwell, lightly agitate, then extract with controlled heat and minimal moisture, followed by extra dry passes and airflow to speed drying. There are smart limits—no extraction on leather, suede/Alcantara, or fragile areas—and some stains (dyes, bleaches) need specialty treatment. Paired with targeted steam and enzyme spotters, extraction delivers a deeper, longer-lasting clean without over-wetting.

The Importance of Vinyl & Leather Conditioning
Vinyl and leather take a beating from sun, heat, and daily use. UV rays dry out surfaces, body oils and sweat break down finishes, and friction creates shiny wear spots that can turn into cracks. Proper conditioning keeps vinyl flexible and helps modern automotive leather (which is usually coated) stay supple by protecting its top layer from drying, fading, and premature wear. The result is longer-lasting trim that feels better, looks richer, and holds its value.
Our process starts with a gentle, pH-balanced clean, then a thin application of a water-based, non-greasy conditioner with UV inhibitors. We work it in evenly, avoid clogging perforations, and buff to a factory-correct matte—never slippery or glossy—especially on high-touch areas like the steering wheel, seats, and armrests. We skip silicone shine on dashboards and seats because it attracts dust and can reduce grip. For most vehicles, conditioning every 3–4 months (more often for cars parked in the sun or convertibles) prevents drying and keeps your interior soft, protected, and ready for everyday life.
